LOS ANGELES - Adult's hottest stars came out for the second annual F.A.M.E. Awards (Fans of Adult Media and Entertainment), held Saturday night on the main stage of the Los Angeles Convention Center as part of the 11th annual Erotica LA expo. As industry figures mingled with each other in and around their seats, the event took on the atmosphere of a high school prom, with everybody giddily hugging each other hello and fawning over one another's getups. Once Patrick and Stone took the stage, the ceremony began with the award for Favorite Oral Starlet, which was presented by Vivid Girl Savanna Samson and rock-'n-roller Dave Navarro. The prize went to Jenna Haze, who also won AVN's Best Oral Sex Scene award this year for her work in Jules Jordan's Jenna Haze Dark Side. In her acceptance speech, Haze quipped, "I guess I'm just a really great cock-sucker." Jenna Haze Dark Side won Favorite Gonzo Movie, and Jordan brought Haze back on stage with him. "I'd like to thank Jenna, first and foremost," he said, to which she chimed in, "For being such a slut." "Exactly," he responded. Jenna Jameson presented the award for Dirtiest Girl in Porn along with her current stable of contract girls: Brea Bennett, Roxy Jezel and the newest addition, Lela Star. Jameson introduced Star separately, exclaiming, "I sure know how to pick 'em!" as the new Club Jenna girl strolled out to join the group. The winner of the Dirtiest Girl in Porn honor was Belladonna, who came up to accept dressed in sharp black slacks and a sleeveless top. "I have to say, I am the cleanest Dirtiest Girl in Porn," she joked. Jameson, meanwhile, claimed the most prestigious award of the evening, Favorite Performer of All Time. "OK, now I can retire," Jameson riffed as she accepted her trophy. She then pulled out a digital camera and announced, "I gotta get a MySpace picture. "Word," she declared after snapping a shot of the audience. She went on to address some of the nasty rumors that have been floating around in the press and gossip circles about her health, saying, "It's been a crazy year for me, but I want everyone to know that I feel great, I love my life, and everything is fabulous." The ceremony included a pair of comedic videos written by Genesis editor Dan Davis and directed by Vivid's B. Skow. The first skit had starlets Gina Lynn,, Ava Rose,, Eva Angelina. and Sunny Lane soliciting fan votes in their respective categories by offering touches — or a little more — of their bodily wares. The second, even funnier sketch, was an infomercial-style plea to "Support Porn Stars," what with their strife-ridden existence of making thousands of dollars a day having sex. Tommy Gunn, played the spokesman, with Mia Rose, Paulina James, and Renae Cruz as the suffering porn thespians. After the ceremony, AVN caught Jameson for a moment to get a few more comments from her about being voted the porn-watching public's favorite performer ever. "I can't even believe it … up against people like Christy Canyon, who's one of my heroes," Jameson marveled. "I was up against the men, too, and it's hard to win against the men — especially Ron Jeremy. That's huge. He's gonna try to, like, take me out at the knees, but it's a huge thing. You know, I've been in the industry for 12 years, and it's kind of affirming the fact that I've worked really, really hard, and it's exciting. " Also offering AVN a few post-show words were the hosts of the evening. Said Patrick, "I enjoyed it very much. Evan was real funny, and it was a great crowd, so it was a lot of fun." Stone commented, "I loved it! Especially the part where I saw myself quite a bit on the screen. That was the best part. And then when Randy [Spears] won [Favorite Male Star], I almost killed myself. But I'm OK with it now." (Stone was up against Spears in that category. — Ed.)
